Welcome to the byphil. ecosystem. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AI Summary Helper browser extension and associated web gateway services located at *.byphil.eu (collectively, the "Service").

1. Account Authentication & Security

• To access paid tiers of the Service, you must authenticate using our One-Time Password (OTP) login flow.
• We do not manage passwords; access is bound strictly to the verified email address provided during the token verification phase.
• You are responsible for keeping your email inbox secure and monitoring all activities under your session tokens.

2. Fair Use & Prohibitions

Paid tiers (Everyday Pass and Researcher Pass) provide unlimited processing tokens for standard human consumption.

Automated scripting, heavy scraping loops, structural stress-testing of our endpoints, or attempts to resell our cloud edge-proxy streams as an external API are strictly prohibited and will result in permanent account termination without refund.

3. Billing & Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd or its affiliates ("Paddle").

Paddle is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles subscription returns. By initiating a checkout, you agree to look to Paddle for resolution of billing disputes and agree to comply with Paddle's checkout terms.

4. Governing Law & Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
